Second-Phase Registration Briefing and Resubmission Invitation

News 1 May 2026

Dear Liaison Officers of Each Delegation,
The registration deadline for the second phase has been extended to May 10. The Organizing Committee has compiled and analyzed the registration results for the Q-form and compared them with those of the G-form. Below is a summary along with a renewed call for Q-form submissions:

1.      A total of 20 countries and regions have completed G-form registrations, involving 156 athletes and 45 officials, totaling 201 participants.
2.      As of April 30, 14 countries and regions have completed Q-form registrations:
China, Hungary, the Netherlands, Australia, Czech Republic, Japan, Costa Rica, Poland, Germany, Romania, Slovakia, Chinese Taipei, Switzerland, and Austria.
These delegations have registered a total of 105 athletes and 28 officials, amounting to 133 participants.
3.      The following countries and regions have submitted the G-form but not yet the Q-form: India, New Zealand, Colombia, Brazil, Belarus, and Singapore.
The Q-form registration deadline has been extended to May 10. Delegations that intend to participate but have not yet submitted the Q-form are urged to do so as soon as possible. If any delegation confirms that they will not be able to participate in the World Championships, please notify the Organizing Committee via email.
4.      Registration for demonstration sub-disciplines remains significantly below the Organizing Committee’s expectations. We sincerely invite delegations with a larger number of athletes but no demonstration sub-disciplines registrations — such as the Netherlands, New Zealand, Germany, and Japan — to reconsider participating in these disciplines (simply revise and resubmit the form accordingly).
To encourage participation in demonstration sub-disciplines, the Organizing Committee has implemented the following adjustments:
o   A total prize fund of 100,000 RMB (or equivalent in prizes) has been allocated for all exhibition events, with 20,000 RMB (or equivalent) awarded per discipline.h
o   The competition schedule has been optimized (see Figure 1):
Only one Championship discipline will be scheduled per day across the five competition days, taking place in the morning, while demonstration sub-disciplines will be held in the afternoon.
These updates will be included in Competition Bulletin 2 (already submitted to FISU for review and to be published shortly).
Thank you for your continued support. Attached is the newly completed venue zoning guide map to welcome all of you!

Optimized competition schedule waiting for FISU review.
